The Discipline Group of Classics and Ancient History is in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia, located in the city of Perth.

Classics and Ancient History involves the study and research of:

• Latin and its literature
• Ancient Greek and its literature
• The literature, history, art and archaeology of the ancient Greek and Roman civilisations
• The contributions of ancient Greek and Roman civilisations to the modern world

The Discipline consists of ten academic staff, and offers academic courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework and research) levels.
